Prior to Your Appointment
General Preparation Guidelines
To help ensure a safe and successful procedure, please follow these general recommendations unless your dentist has advised otherwise:
Eat a light meal before your appointment unless instructed to fast
Take prescribed medications as directed
Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your procedure
Wear comfortable clothing\
Leave valuables at home
If your treatment involves sedation, you may receive additional instructions, which must be followed carefully.
Medications & Medical History

Please inform our team if you:
Are taking prescription or over-the-counter medications
Have allergies to medications, latex, or anesthesia
Have a medical condition such as diabetes, heart disease, or sleep apnea
Are pregnant or may be pregnant

Sedation & Anesthesia Considerations
If Sedation Is Planned
If your procedure involves oral or IV sedation:
Do not eat or drink for the required period before your appointment
Arrange for a responsible adult to drive you to and from the clinic
Plan to rest for the remainder of the day following your procedure
Your care team will review these instructions with you in advance so you know exactly what to expect.
What to Bring
