At Southwest Smiles, we aim to provide excellent care while respecting your time and individual needs. Our clinic policies are designed to support a smooth, efficient experience for all patients while remaining fair, clear, and flexible whenever possible.

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a schedule that benefits everyone.

Financial & Insurance Policy

We are happy to process dental insurance claims on your behalf as a courtesy to our patients.

Because insurance coverage varies between providers and plans, we can only estimate coverage in good faith. We are not the benefit administrator and cannot guarantee coverage; however, we are always happy to assist with pre-determinations so you have a clearer understanding of what may be covered before treatment begins.

Payment at Time of Service

  • Routine services: 30% deposit required

  • Major services: 60% deposit required

  • All-on-4 and dental implant treatments: Full payment required prior to treatment

A valid credit card is required to be kept on file for all patients.

Monthly Payment Plans

To help make dental care more manageable, we offer financing through Dentalcard by iFinance Canada.

Dentalcard provides a range of flexible payment plans with low monthly payments designed to fit a variety of budgets.

Appointment Cancellation Policy

We understand that schedules can change and unexpected situations arise.

To help us manage appointments effectively, we kindly request 48 hours’ notice for cancellations, changes, or rescheduling. Missed appointments or late cancellations impact our ability to care for other patients.

  • Patients who miss more than one appointment may be required to provide a $100 deposit to book future visits

  • Exceptional circumstances and emergencies are always considered on a case-by-case basis
